Call for Donations to Aid Tohoku
Huge earthquake with Magnitude 9.0 hit the Tohoku District (Northeastern region) in Japan on March 11. About 30,000 people died or still missing by enormous Tsunami occurred just after the earthquake. More than 150,000 people were still forced to live in evacuation centers. Many people lost their families and homes. Many children lost their parents and no ways to go to schools.
In response to this catastrophe, CSAS is collecting donations that will go directly to support the efforts of the damaged cities in Miyagi Prefecture such as Sendai, Ishinomaki, and Minami-sanriku.
